Research relevance: This research paper focused on approaches and tools for increasing employees’ retention in the hotel industry. More particularly, it examines the impact of job satisfaction and motivational level on employee retention. In order to study this, a questionnaire survey was carried. The question was focused on the monetary and non-monetary reasons for employee retention and their turnover intention. The valid sample includes 17 employees of the company. The main finding of this research paper is that non-monetary types of compensations are a significant tool for improving motivation. Developed recommendations have some implications for practice.
