Introduction
One hundred fifteen years ago, a rebellion began on the battleship "Prince Potemkin-Tavrichesky". After the riot, the rebel battleship resisted the authorities for less than two weeks. First, the ship headed for the port of Odesa to support anti-government protests in the city. The naval officials could not intercept the vessel, but the sailors themselves did not dare to land. On July 2, "Potemkin" arrived at the Romanian port of Constanta. It all ended there. On July 8, the battleship in Constanta surrendered to the Romanian authorities. The crew received the status of military deserters, which did not provide for forced deportation to Russia.
