The cloning technology is one of the biomedical fields that has remarkably developed in many countries. The word „cloning” is referred as „making an identical copy”. The DNA molecule of cells with genetically identical structures is known as a clone. Replicating plants and animals, recreating extinct or being in danger of extinction animals, propagating genes and saving newborns from hereditary diseases, helping to discover the methods of infertility, replacing the destroyed organs and other things are mentioned to be the most important advantages of cloning.
On the one hand, making big steps forward towards development and technologies is a promising thing. On the other hand, the required legal framework has not been created to support such developments yet. Iran can be mentioned as an example of one of these countries.
