What is bullying?
Bullying at school is a repetitive emotional or physical harassment of a child/ teenager by fellow pupils.
Bullying comes in different forms...
hitting pushing kicking also sexual abuse
ignoring blackmailing gossiping verbal insulting shouting stealing one’s bellongings
psychological abuse through social media or emailing
Who are typical abuse targets?
Pupils, who are anyhow «different»: upupils with illness or disability upupils from poor families upupils of different race or religious/cultural beliefs uLGBTQ+ upupils who are vulnerable or lonely (with few or no friends) ubecause of physical features (red-haired, extra weight etc.)
Interestingly, children who are smart, talented, creative also can become targets of bullying
