Summary
Climatic changes caused by greenhouse gas emissions are a serious and complex environmental problem. Greenhouse gas emissions can hardly be reduced since it is closely linked to the use of fossil fuels, the main catalyst for the growth of the modern economy. Of particular relevance, the national mechanisms for reducing emissions were reflected in the results of the COP25 held in Madrid. This paper discusses the features of the national carbon trading systems of Great Britain and New Zealand.
